On July 31, WeRide unveiled its financial performance for the second quarter of 2025, reporting a robust revenue of RMB 127 million, signifying a substantial 60.8% increase from the corresponding period last year. Among its various segments, the Robotaxi business shone particularly brightly, generating RMB 45.9 million in revenue, an astonishing 836.7% year-on-year jump. This achievement not only set a new benchmark for the company's quarterly revenue but also contributed 36.1% to its total revenue in Q2, the highest proportion since 2021. Furthermore, WeRide's gross profit expanded by 40.6% year-on-year, maintaining a steady upward trajectory. Notably, the fleet size of Robotaxis in Abu Dhabi has tripled since 2024, underscoring the company's rapid expansion and market penetration.
