Nissan China and Dongfeng Group Launch New Joint Venture, Emphasizing Vehicle Exports and Diversified Businesses

Nissan China and Dongfeng Group have announced plans to establish a new joint venture in Guangzhou, with a strategic focus on exporting complete vehicles, auto parts, and accessories. According to the official statement, Nissan China will hold a 60% share in the venture, while Dongfeng Group will hold the remaining 40%. This collaboration aims to commence electric vehicle exports to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Central and South America as early as 2025, with Dongfeng Nissan's electric sedan N7 among the inaugural models. The announcement of this new joint venture has now entered a public consultation phase, running from July 31, 2025, to August 9, 2025.
