Tesla has recently implemented a second pricing adjustment for its Robotaxi service in Austin, transitioning from a static fee model to a dynamic pricing structure that varies according to the distance of the journey. With the release of app version 25.7.10, shorter trips now incur lower costs, while longer ones see a slight increase, accompanied by the resolution of system bugs. For instance, a 17.7-kilometer ride now costs approximately 98.4 Chinese yuan, representing a more affordable option compared to the 114.9 yuan charged by other platforms. Tesla anticipates extending this service to California in the coming weeks and intends to further broaden its service area within Austin.
