During the performance presentation meeting, CATL disclosed that its battery swapping operations for both passenger vehicles and heavy trucks are progressing seamlessly. As of the close of July, the company has successfully established over 400 battery swap stations for passenger vehicles, with an ambitious target of reaching 1,000 by the end of the year. Additionally, around 100 heavy truck battery swap stations have been constructed, with plans to build a total of 300 throughout the year. In parallel, CATL has collaborated with various automakers to introduce over 20 new "chocolate" battery swap models. Furthermore, the company has partnered with Sinopec, NIO, Didi, and other enterprises to expedite the development of a comprehensive battery swapping ecosystem.
