On July 30, Nissan announced its plan to consolidate all auto production operations in Mexico into the Aguascalientes Integrated Plant by the fiscal year 2025. This strategic move aims to bolster production and logistics efficiency, fostering sustainable growth. As part of the company's broader global production restructuring, the CIVAC plant in Cuernavaca will cease operations by the end of fiscal year 2025. According to the restructuring plan, Nissan aims to streamline its global production footprint from 17 bases to 10, reflecting a commitment to enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
