ByteDance is set to introduce the 'Doubao Auto' project, which will integrate its Volcano Engine's automotive cloud services. This initiative will concentrate on two key facets of smart vehicles: intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving, offering advanced smart terminal solutions. As ByteDance's cloud and AI service platform, Volcano Engine already supports automakers including Changan Automobile, GAC Aion, and Lynk & Co. Currently, it is partnering with SAIC Motor to develop AI cockpit products based on the sophisticated Doubao large model. This model boasts multimodal perception and user intent understanding capabilities, aimed at delivering a highly personalized and intelligent driving experience.
