On the evening of July 29, Li Xiang, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Li Auto, disclosed during the Li i8 launch event that the company is currently testing autonomous charging robots. These robots, resembling mechanical arms, are capable of autonomously inserting the charging connector into the vehicle's charging port. Furthermore, Li Xiang mentioned that Li Auto has streamlined the placement of supercharging stations by renting five parking spaces on highways but deploying only four charging stations, and similarly, renting ten parking spaces in urban areas while installing eight charging stations to enhance convenience for car owners. Moreover, utilizing Li Auto's supercharging stations offers a suite of exclusive features, including charging reservations and battery preheating.
