Recently, a Tesla owner abroad shared a dashcam video showcasing the functionality of the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system. The vehicle seamlessly stopped at an unmanned toll booth, processed the payment, and autonomously resumed driving once the transaction was complete. Ashok, the head of Tesla AI, elaborated that the FSD system monitors the payment process through cameras and triggers the vehicle to move forward autonomously upon transaction completion. This capability showcases the strides Tesla's FSD has made in observing and learning human behavior. However, user feedback suggests that the feature is still in its nascent stages, with issues such as premature starts reported. Tesla has affirmed its commitment to continuously refining the FSD functionality and intends to integrate it into the consumer version.
