The incident unfolded in a vast surface parking lot adjacent to Chengdu Tianfu Airport, where a black BYD Han ride-hailing vehicle was observed continuously circling the area. The official Weibo account of BYD's News Anti-Fake Office has confirmed, following thorough verification, that the vehicle's braking system was functioning normally. The incident was attributed solely to the driver's agitation, stemming from challenges in picking up passengers, and was not related to any technical malfunctions of the vehicle. The vehicle has since been safely parked, and thankfully, no collisions or casualties were reported. BYD has stated that it will take legal action against those spreading rumors and misinformation regarding this matter.
