On July 21, Tesla unveiled its pioneering global supercharging station restaurant, aptly named Tesla Diner, at 7001 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles. This innovative venture seamlessly integrates dining, charging, and entertainment into one space. Hundreds of eager customers lined up as early as 13 hours before opening, and within the first six hours of operation, the diner generated revenues totaling $47,000 from dining and charging services. This figure surpassed the daily sales of a nearby McDonald's by an impressive 30%. Designed with a nostalgic retro theme, the restaurant boasts 80 V4 supercharging stations and accommodates over 200 guests. In addition to dining, it offers Tesla-themed merchandise and a unique drive-in theater experience. Should this venture prove to be a success, Tesla intends to expand this model across the globe.
