NIO's founder, Li Bin, has proudly announced the completion of the company's battery swap station at the world's highest altitude – the Gongbujiangda Swap Station, situated at an impressive 4,500 meters above sea level. This milestone signifies the establishment of NIO's 1001st highway swap station. To date, NIO has constructed a comprehensive network comprising 3,409 swap stations and 8,087 charging and swapping stations, seamlessly intertwining 9 longitudinal and 11 transverse lines across 16 major urban agglomerations. Furthermore, NIO has ambitious plans to connect the 318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway with 14 swap stations, ensuring a seamless full-route battery swapping service from Chengdu to the base of Mount Everest.
