Tesla has announced the introduction of the Model Y L, a nearly 5-meter-long six-seat pure electric SUV, slotting perfectly between the Model Y and Model X. Estimated to retail at approximately 400,000 yuan, the Model Y L is set to hit the market in the fall. This strategic move further intensifies competition within the domestic six-seat pure electric SUV segment, where NIO, Li Auto, and AITO have already established their presence with similar offerings. Additionally, Tesla plans to introduce the longest-range version of the Model 3 in September, priced at around 270,000 yuan. Despite a 13.5% year-on-year decline in second-quarter deliveries and the ongoing sales pressure, Tesla remains resolute in expanding its market footprint.
