BYD's seventh roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) vessel, the 'Zhengzhou', has been successfully delivered and is set to dock at the Shenshan Xiaomo Port, where it will commence loading vehicles for long-distance maritime journeys. Constructed by Guangzhou Shipyard International, this vessel boasts a capacious design capable of transporting 7,000 vehicles and utilizes an advanced LNG dual-fuel propulsion system. As part of BYD's ambitious plan, the company aims to establish an 'overseas fleet' comprising eight ro-ro vessels by 2026, with the objective of significantly reducing delivery times for European orders and expediting its global market expansion.

In addition to ocean shipping, BYD diversifies its export strategies by utilizing railways and overseas production facilities. Notably, the joint venture factory in Uzbekistan is now fully operational. During the first half of this year, BYD exported an impressive 472,000 vehicles, marking a remarkable year-on-year increase of over 130%, and positioning the company as the second-largest exporter among domestic automakers.
