Chongqing has recently unveiled the "Consultation Draft of Policy Measures for Advancing the Promotion and Adoption of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles by 2025". The policy outlines that, effective January 1, 2025, subsidies will be awarded to hydrogen refueling stations integrated into the city's planning. The subsidy rate is set at 30% of the actual construction investment (excluding land costs), with a maximum subsidy of 3 million yuan per station. Furthermore, for hydrogen refueling stations with a retail price of hydrogen not exceeding 25 yuan/kg, an operational subsidy of 30 yuan/kg will be granted based on the annual cumulative hydrogen dispensed, capped at 3 million yuan per station. The policy also urges district and county economic and information departments to innovate business models, craft tailored policies to bolster the promotion and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and encourage related enterprises to establish financial leasing platforms, thereby facilitating the large-scale demonstration deployment of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
