Market research firm Rho Motion released data on Tuesday revealing that global sales of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles surged by 24% year-on-year in June, totaling 1.8 million units. This uptick underscores the persistent growth trajectory in the electric vehicle markets of China and Europe. Specifically, sales in the Chinese market skyrocketed by 28% year-on-year, while the European market expanded by 23%. In contrast, the North American market experienced a decline of 9%.
