Having been acquired by new investors, WM Motor intends to restart mass production of its EX5 and E5 models in August of this year. The company has devised a comprehensive three-phase development strategy spanning from 2025 to 2030. The initial phase focuses on achieving annual production and sales volumes of between 10,000 and 20,000 vehicles, while simultaneously establishing a manufacturing facility in Thailand to facilitate expansion into international markets. The second phase envisages boosting annual sales to a range of 250,000 to 400,000 vehicles and accelerating the adoption of advanced driver assistance systems and AI technology. By 2029, WM Motor aims to produce 1 million vehicles annually, generating revenues of RMB 100 billion, and constructing an intelligent mobility ecosystem.
