On July 11, Chen Liming, CEO of Horizon Robotics, highlighted at the 2025 China Automotive Forum that intelligent driving stands as a pivotal component in China's strategy for smart, connected new energy vehicles. Since the start of this year, there has been a notable decrease in the cost of intelligent driving technology, accompanied by enhanced performance. Consequently, intelligence has emerged as a critical factor influencing consumer decisions when purchasing electric vehicles. Based on these observations, Chen Liming concluded that advanced intelligent assisted driving has reached a pivotal point and is poised for rapid growth in the years to come. He emphasized that this trend is fueled by national policy support, industry advancements, and robust consumer demand.
