On July 10, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers unveiled statistics indicating that China's automotive industry witnessed double-digit year-over-year growth across multiple economic indicators in the first half of 2023. This robust performance is attributed to proactive macroeconomic policies that have maintained overall economic stability. Between January and June, both auto production and sales surpassed the 15 million mark, with year-on-year increases exceeding 10%. Notably, new energy vehicles (NEVs) stood out with impressive figures, recording production and sales of 6.968 million and 6.937 million units, respectively, up 41.4% and 40.3% year-on-year. These figures account for a significant 44.3% share of total new vehicle sales.
