As advanced driver assistance systems become increasingly prevalent, LiDAR technology has seen widespread adoption in automobiles. However, incidents of camera burnout are not uncommon. Recently, an incident in a residential area highlighted this issue: a car equipped with LiDAR was driving at night when the camera at an intersection suddenly malfunctioned, resulting in a significant number of dead pixels on the surveillance screen. Reviewing the surveillance footage, it is evident that the camera had clearly captured the operational state of the LiDAR prior to the incident.
