Recently, the Shanghai Automobile Sales Association, the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce Automobile Sales Chamber of Commerce, the Zhejiang Automobile Circulation Association, and the Anhui Automobile Dealers Association have jointly issued a directive aimed at addressing the operational challenges faced by automobile dealers in the Yangtze River Delta region. According to reports, these four associations conducted comprehensive market research on the operational status of dealers within their respective jurisdictions and subsequently issued the "Joint Letter Urging OEMs to Alleviate Operating Difficulties of Automobile Dealers in the Yangtze River Delta Region." This initiative was prompted by concerns that some automakers were compelling dealers to sell vehicles at prices below cost, which is suspected of violating legal regulations.
