On July 1, Li Bin, the visionary founder of NIO, unveiled that the company's groundbreaking self-developed Shenji NX9031 chip—the world's first automotive-grade 5-nanometer intelligent driving chip—has been seamlessly integrated into the ET9, new ES6, new EC6, new ET5, and new ET5T models. This remarkable chip has surpassed all design expectations, boasting a single-chip performance on par with four NVIDIA Orin-X chips. This achievement translates into a cost savings of approximately RMB 10,000 per vehicle, thereby significantly elevating NIO's single-vehicle gross margin.
