Toyota, however, retained its dominance in Guangdong and Tibet, while Volkswagen claimed victory in Qinghai. Notably, Toyota sold a whopping 26,280 units in Guangdong, outpacing all competitors. In Shandong, BYD led with 20,989 units sold. When it comes to specific models, BYD's new energy vehicles shone brightly, capturing the sales championship in 11 provinces. Geely Xingrui and Tesla Model Y emerged as leaders in five provinces each, with the former dominant in certain regions and the latter prevailing in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Beijing, and other key markets. Xiaomi's SU7 made a strong impression in Zhejiang, where it became the sales champion with 5,067 units sold. Overall, BYD's brand strength is undeniable, underscoring its significant market advantage. Meanwhile, the model market remains fiercely competitive, characterized by a pronounced trend towards diversification.
