During the 2025 Global New Energy Vehicle Cooperation and Development (Shanghai) Forum, Leng Yan, Executive Vice President of Mercedes-Benz (China), revealed the company's future initiatives. Commencing in 2025, Benz will introduce a new all-electric long-wheelbase CLA model exclusively tailored for the Chinese market, alongside a luxurious all-electric MPV based on the VAN.EA platform, which will be manufactured in Fujian. Leng Yan emphasized Benz's unwavering commitment to its long-term growth in China, announcing an additional investment of 14 billion yuan alongside its Chinese partners. This investment aims to bolster its localized product offerings and expedite advancements in electrification and intelligent technologies.
