Today at 14:00, Guangzhou Metro Lines 10 and the eastern and western sections of Line 12 officially commenced operations, expanding the total mileage of Guangzhou Metro to 751.1 kilometers and the rail transit network in the Greater Bay Area to over 1,100 kilometers. Notably, Line 10 employs the highest level of autonomous driving technology, GoA4, enabling a suite of advanced automatic functions. The stations and digital displays of these new lines proudly showcase the theme of the National Games, fostering an exciting event ambiance. By the close of this year, Guangzhou anticipates opening seven additional lines, further accelerating the integration of the Pearl River Delta's intercity railway network. Guangzhou Metro remains dedicated to fostering the "rail economy," pioneering new technologies, and has ambitious plans to expand into overseas markets.
