On June 25, Tang Zhikun, General Manager of the International Business Center at Guangdong XPeng Motors Technology Group Co., Ltd., disclosed that exporting domestic vehicles to regions such as the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia via the "zero-mileage used car" model holds considerable market potential and could significantly propel sales. Nonetheless, XPeng Motors has refrained from adopting this approach in pursuit of short-term gains. Tang Zhikun emphasized that numerous overseas governments are progressively restricting the import of zero-mileage used cars through regulatory and certification measures this year. He expressed relief that XPeng had not ventured into this sector last year, underscoring the company's commitment to prioritizing brand reputation and service excellence, with a focus on medium- and long-term strategic planning. Tang believes that the adverse effects of prioritizing short-term sales growth would far outweigh any positive impacts in the medium to long term.
