Tesla is manufacturing a specially adapted version of the Model Y at its Austin factory specifically for its Robotaxi project. Dubbed internally as "Halo," this vehicle boasts enhancements such as self-cleaning cameras, additional protective measures, and a secondary communication unit. Tesla aims to incorporate these "Halo" vehicles into its fleet by the end of this year and has already commenced Robotaxi services in Austin, with a tentative fare set at $4.2 per trip.
