June 25 news: Despite the gradual recovery of the European electric vehicle market, Tesla's sales continue to decline. The latest figures indicate a steep year-on-year drop of 40.5% in Tesla's sales within the European Union (EU) in May, marking the fifth consecutive month of significant decline. During this period, only 8,729 new cars were registered. When including the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland in the statistics, sales still witnessed a decline of 28%, totaling 13,863 units. Looking back at the first four months of this year, Tesla's sales in Europe fell by 50%, 47%, 36%, and 53%, respectively. The last time Tesla recorded sales growth in the EU was in December of last year, with a modest increase of 5.9%.
