Guangzhou has unveiled a comprehensive three-year action plan aimed at advancing the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry. By 2027, the city strives to cultivate 2-3 new energy vehicle enterprises capable of producing over 500,000 units annually, thereby bolstering brand influence and core technological competitiveness. Additionally, the plan emphasizes the enhancement of electric vehicle infrastructure and the promotion of fuel cell vehicles for commercial use. Crucially, the initiative sets a target for more than 90% of new vehicles to be intelligent connected at Level 2 (inclusive) or above. It actively promotes the demonstration of autonomous driving technologies and reinforces the synergy between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, aiming for seamless interconnection and interoperability within the core region of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
