On June 17, Reuters reported that the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) has issued a report indicating that Chinese automakers are swiftly emerging as the frontrunners in the global zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) market. Presently, China boasts annual sales of electric vehicles exceeding 11 million units, representing over half of the global total. Furthermore, China holds the top five spots in terms of the breadth of zero-emission vehicle categories available.
