The 2025 International Automobile and Supply Chain Expo in Hong Kong served as the stage for Pony.ai to introduce its groundbreaking seventh-generation autonomous Robotaxi, the Toyota BZX4X. This model, specifically engineered for mass production of L4 autonomous driving, made its Hong Kong debut. Boasting 100% automotive-grade components, the BZX4X has achieved a remarkable 70% cost reduction and maintains compatibility with a wide range of vehicle types. Its advanced hardware includes 34 sensors spanning six categories and four Orin-X chips, delivering a formidable computing power of up to 1016 TOPS. Additionally, GAC Aion's Tyrannosaurus Rex autonomous driving vehicle has secured a road test license. Pony.ai aims to expand its fleet to 1,000 vehicles by the close of 2025, paving the way for the gradual rollout of Robotaxi services in downtown Hong Kong.
