In response to President Trump's emphasis on strengthening domestic manufacturing, General Motors (GM) has announced plans to invest $4 billion over the next two years in expanding three of its U.S. factories. This strategic move is anticipated to elevate GM's annual production capacity in the United States to over 2 million vehicles, encompassing both gasoline-powered and electric models. On Tuesday, GM stated that the investment is intended to bolster local production capabilities, thereby mitigating the impact of tariff pressures.
