CATL has marked a significant milestone with the production of its 1 millionth battery pack exclusively for Lixiang Motors. This achievement underscores the success of the 5C Kirin battery, a collaborative effort between the two companies that boasts unparalleled endurance and the world's fastest charging speed, enabling a 500-kilometer range in just 12 minutes. After a three-year research and development process involving over 1,000 personnel, the battery has successfully introduced a groundbreaking 5C cell and safety architecture. Remarkably, to date, there have been no incidents of thermal runaway attributed to the battery itself. Globally, CATL has served over 19.25 million vehicles with its battery solutions.
