On June 5, China Aero Engine Corporation Limited, based in Zhuzhou, Hunan, announced that the AES100 engine has been granted a production license and a sales contract has been executed. This milestone signifies the transition of the engine from the design and development phase to mass production, paving the way for its market introduction and boosting the advancement of low-altitude equipment. The AES100 is China's pioneering 1000 kW-class civil turboshaft engine, developed in adherence to international airworthiness standards. It is robust enough for complex environments and compatible with a wide range of helicopter models.
