Xiong Tianbo, the General Manager of BYD's Equation Leopard Business Unit, issued an apology on Weibo to users concerning the prolonged delivery timeline for the Tai 3. He acknowledged that the volume of Tai 3 orders surpassed initial projections and attributed the delay in delivering the rear-wheel drive variant to challenges including production scaling and procedural hurdles. However, he assured that significant strides have been made to fully ramp up production capacity for the Tai 3. Consequently, the delivery period for both the four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive models has been markedly reduced.
