On June 4, the National Public Service Platform for Standards Information issued a call for public feedback on a proposed mandatory national standard project: Safety Requirements for Integrated Driving Assistance Systems in Intelligent Connected Vehicles. This initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, will be carried out by the Intelligent and Connected Vehicle Subcommittee of the National Automobile Standardization Technical Committee. Key entities involved in drafting the standard include China Automotive Technology & Research Center Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., among others. The project spans a duration of 22 months, commencing from the application date of March 22, 2024. The public consultation period commences on June 4, 2025, and concludes on July 4, 2025.
