On June 3, it was announced that five ministries and commissions will collaborate to launch a campaign promoting new energy vehicles (NEVs) in rural areas in 2025. The initiative will target county-level cities with underdeveloped NEV markets but significant potential, hosting a series of specialized events that will extend their reach to neighboring towns and villages. These activities will be tailored to local characteristics, aiming to synergize with ongoing pilot projects, including the enhancement of charging and battery swapping infrastructure in counties and the "vehicle-road-cloud integration" pilot for intelligent and connected vehicles. The overall objective is to facilitate the flow of high-quality resources into rural communities.
