BYD Co., Ltd. has proudly announced that its sales of new energy vehicles surged to 382,500 units in May 2025, marking a robust 15.3% increase compared to the same period last year. For the year to date, cumulative sales have reached an impressive 1,763,400 units, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 38.70%. Among these sales, passenger vehicles have been the mainstay, accounting for 376,900 units in May, with a cumulative sales figure of 1,735,600 units for the year, an increase of 37.00% from the previous year. Commercial vehicle sales also witnessed a remarkable surge, with May sales reaching 5,546 units, a staggering 317.9% year-on-year growth, and cumulative sales for the year soaring by 531.43% compared to the previous year.

Furthermore, BYD's overseas sales of new energy vehicles in May amounted to 89,047 units, demonstrating the company's expanding global footprint. The total installed capacity of power batteries and energy storage batteries reached approximately 28.48 GWh in May, with cumulative installed capacity for the year standing at approximately 107.51 GWh, underscoring BYD's leadership in the field of energy storage solutions.
