Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. has announced the recall of 1,715 imported G-Class vehicles manufactured between April 2, 2024, and October 11, 2024. The recall is necessitated by a software anomaly in the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control unit of these vehicles, potentially resulting in the display of inaccurate warning messages.
