Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. has announced the recall of 1,715 imported G-Class vehicles manufactured between April 2, 2024, and October 11, 2024. The recall is necessitated by a software anomaly in the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control unit of these vehicles, potentially resulting in the display of inaccurate warning messages. To address this issue and ensure the safety and compliance of the affected vehicles, the company will offer free software updates through its authorized dealerships.
