In a report by ABC on the 29th, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the US government's automotive regulatory body, announced that Ford Motor Company has initiated a recall of over 1 million vehicles across the nation due to a software malfunction. This issue can lead to delays, freezes, or a complete absence of the rearview camera image while reversing, thereby escalating the risk of accidents. Earlier this month, Ford had notified the NHTSA about this problem. It is noted that vehicle dealerships will address this concern through remote software updates and other effective means.
