On May 30, industry insiders revealed that Hyundai is contemplating a 1% price increase across its entire product line in the United States, a strategic move aimed at cushioning the blow from Trump-era tariffs. This potential price adjustment, which could take effect as early as next week, will impact the manufacturer's suggested retail prices for all models but will not retroactively affect vehicles already sold. Furthermore, to avoid a direct hike in base vehicle prices, Hyundai might also elevate shipping fees and accessory costs, encompassing items like floor mats and roof rails.
