This partnership will intensify efforts in three pivotal areas: bolstering the aftermarket for new energy batteries, upgrading regional transportation to electric systems, and establishing a holistic zero-carbon city ecosystem. The ultimate objective is to transform Lanzhou into a beacon of zero-carbon transformation in the northwest region. CATL will lend its expertise to enhance Lanzhou's charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, accelerate the electrification of transportation, and collaboratively develop a battery testing center tailored for new energy vehicles. Furthermore, the company will explore avenues for retired battery recycling, working hand-in-hand with Lanzhou to establish a comprehensive battery recycling system and foster a resilient zero-carbon city ecosystem.
