On May 28, the inaugural Hainan Free Trade Port Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Industry Development Seminar convened in Haikou, unveiling ambitious plans for the region. By 2030, Hainan anticipates achieving industrialization, scale, and market penetration for its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry, with a projected fleet of over 10,000 vehicles and 66 hydrogen refueling stations. During the event, Hainan Haima Automobile Co., Ltd. inked a strategic collaboration agreement with Shanghai Sunwell New Energy System Co., Ltd. and Sinopec (Hainan) Branch. This tripartite partnership aims to foster a comprehensive, zero-carbon emission automotive ecosystem within the Hainan Free Trade Port.
