Geely intends to launch a series of satellites, prominently featuring the 'Thousand Miles and Vast Sky' satellite, in the coming period. By 2025, the company aims to complete the first phase of its satellite constellation networking, thereby offering global real-time satellite communication services. Presently, Geely boasts 30 self-developed satellites in orbit, providing coverage for 90% of the world's surface. These satellites will be seamlessly integrated with advanced driver assistance systems, with models like the Yinhe Xingyao 8, Lynk & Co 900, and Zeekr 001 already equipped with satellite communication technology. This ensures uninterrupted and secure communication for users, even in the absence of terrestrial networks.
