On May 27, Li Yunfei, the General Manager of BYD Group's Brand and Public Relations Department, proudly announced that both the BYD Blade Battery and the Flash Charge Blade Battery have successfully passed all tests of the newly implemented national battery safety standard ahead of schedule. These batteries have been duly certified by the esteemed China Automotive Technology and Research Center. The rigorous new national standard mandates that batteries must not ignite or explode following thermal runaway incidents, a criterion that both BYD batteries have met with flying colors.
