Didi Hitch maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards offline transactions. Between April and May 2025 alone, the platform permanently banned 4,826 drivers for serious violations. To date, since the start of the year, Didi Hitch has banned over 100,000 drivers, with more than 40,000 of these bans being permanent. The platform strongly advises users that engaging in offline transactions can compromise ride safety and personal rights, potentially resulting in insurance claims being denied and complaints being disregarded. In extreme cases, users may face permanent service suspension penalties.
