The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government has recently unveiled the 'Special Action Plan to Stimulate Consumption' in Shanghai. This plan aims to significantly boost consumer goods trade-ins as a means of revitalizing the local economy. Specifically, regarding automotive consumption, the plan outlines the implementation of both the national vehicle scrapping and replacement subsidy policy and Shanghai's own vehicle replacement subsidy program. Furthermore, the plan incorporates the national subsidy policy for the trade-in of household appliances and introduces novel subsidies for the purchase of digital products, including mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches (bracelets), in an effort to promote eco-friendly consumption within the realms of household appliances, furniture, and home decoration.
