Recently, Musk indicated that he hasn't discounted the notion of merging Tesla with the AI startup, xAI, though no concrete plans are currently in place. Such a move would necessitate the support of Tesla's shareholders. Additionally, Musk disclosed that xAI's Grok chatbot will be integrated into Tesla vehicles in the near future. Meanwhile, xAI is in the process of constructing a colossal factory, dubbed Colossus. With regard to chip procurement, Tesla intends to increase its purchases of chips from NVIDIA and AMD for AI training purposes. Furthermore, Tesla's autonomous taxi, the Cybercab, is anticipated to commence trial operations in Austin, Texas, by the end of June.
