On May 21, Xia Zhongpu, the head of Li Auto's pioneering 'End-to-End' assisted driving model, is set to part ways with the company. Xia Zhongpu, holding a senior position at level 21, reported directly to Lang Xianpeng, the Vice President of Li Auto's Assisted Driving Research and Development. According to reliable sources, Xia Zhongpu has recently stepped down from Li Auto's latest VLA assisted driving project team and has abstained from business meetings for several consecutive weeks. At this juncture, the specifics of Xia Zhongpu's future endeavors post-departure remain undisclosed, and Li Auto has yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
Xia Zhongpu joined Li Auto in 2023, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and control model of the assisted driving system.
