The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of Korea has announced a voluntary recall by Kia, BMW Korea, and Hyundai Motor Company, involving a total of 16,577 vehicles across 14 models. The recalls are a result of manufacturing defects.

Kia is recalling 12,949 vehicles from two models, primarily due to issues with the high-pressure fuel pipe, which could potentially cause fuel leaks and fires.

BMW is recalling 2,213 vehicles across 11 models because of improperly installed 48V starter-generator components, which may lead to charging problems.

Hyundai is taking action on 1,390 Elec City hydrogen fuel cell buses due to a flaw in the design of the exhaust port cover.
