Leapmotor Leads New Energy Vehicle Exports from China in 2025's First Quarter

The globalization of China's new energy vehicle industry is gathering momentum. In April, Chery and BYD emerged as the top overseas sales performers among all brands, while Leapmotor and XPeng distinguished themselves within the realm of new energy startups. Notably, Leapmotor secured the top spot in new energy vehicle exports from January to April 2025 and maintained its leadership position in global sales of new energy startups for two consecutive months, surpassing 40,000 units sold in April alone.
Leveraging its collaboration with the Stellantis Group, Leapmotor International has expanded its footprint into 23 international markets since September 2024, establishing an extensive network of over 550 sales and service outlets worldwide.
